Terms for using RoomDone

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RoomDone at https://roomdone.netlify.app (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RoomDone helps you upload a room photo, describe your furnishing goals, and receive a coordinated set of real, purchasable products with budget math, fit statements, and an optional AI-generated room preview. The exact product list and written plan details are the source of truth. Previews are illustrative and may be withheld, marked unverified, or shown with warnings when they fail accuracy checks.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The Service is provided on an evolving basis during early access.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You may use much of the Service without an account. If you create an account through email magic link or Google Sign-In, you are responsible for activity under that account and for keeping access to your email secure.

You must provide accurate information and notify us at support@roomdone.app if you believe your account was compromised.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, including photos that violate another person’s privacy.
• Attempt to probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service.
• Misuse AI features to generate unrelated, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Circumvent usage limits, authentication, or safety controls.

You retain ownership of photos and text you submit. You grant RoomDone a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service, including transmitting it to our providers in memory as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

Room analysis, product suggestions, fit language, and previews are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are planning assistance only — not interior-design, architectural, engineering, or legal advice.

You are responsible for verifying dimensions, clearance, product availability, pricing, shipping, returns, and suitability before purchase.

Product links may take you to external retailer websites. RoomDone does not sell furniture, process checkout, or control retailer inventory, pricing, delivery, or policies. Any purchase is solely between you and the retailer.

Some links may use affiliate tracking when enabled for a given product. Retailer sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The Service, including its software, design, catalog curation, and branding, is owned by RoomDone and its licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license is granted to you.

Do not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOMDONE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOMDONE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO THESE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You will defend and indemnify RoomDone against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

Sections that by nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
