RoomDone checks real products for catalog quality, published dimensions, fit, shipping, and whole-set coordination before showing you one buying plan.
Every furniture decision changes the rest of the room. A bed changes nightstand clearance. A rug changes the money left for storage. Another retailer can change the delivery total. RoomDone therefore evaluates a complete set, not isolated products.
Today, RoomDone builds shoppable plans for bedrooms, home offices, and living rooms. The five checkpoints below show what the product knows, what it checks, and what you still need to confirm.
Define the complete room set
The confirmed room program owns the eligible categories. The user’s add and replace decisions then decide which slots the plan must fill. Unrelated furniture visible in the photo stays context; it does not silently become a shopping task.

Start with catalog-qualified products
A product must resolve to an exact purchasable variant, official retailer page, matching image, and published dimensions where fit depends on them. Current policy also requires at least a 4.0 rating and 25 reviews, no hard quality exclusion, and availability observed at the recorded check time.

Uses user-entered room length and width to tighten floor-fit checks. The user must still confirm wall-dependent clearances and door swings.

Protect the whole-room budget
RoomDone tests the complete set against one ceiling. A product that looks cheap on its own can still break the plan after the other required pieces and known shipping are counted. Swaps recalculate the same set instead of starting a new shopping list.

What the room preview means
The exact product list is complete independently of image generation. A verified preview has been checked against that manifest. If an image is unverified or fails a check, RoomDone says what went wrong and points back to the list. The plan never waits on the picture.
Common questions
Does RoomDone pick the cheapest product that fits?
No. Budget is a ceiling the whole set has to clear, not the ranking. Among products that pass the catalog, fit, and shipping checks, the plan favors the pieces with the strongest published evidence and the best coordination with the rest of the set.
How many retailers does one plan use?
Two at most. This worked set orders from a single retailer. RoomDone allows a third only when the budget cannot otherwise be met, and the plan says so when that happens.
Can I change a product in the plan?
Yes. Every slot keeps eligible alternates, labeled by what they change (a different look or a lower price), and each swap is re-checked against fit and the budget before it lands in the buying list.
What does RoomDone not check?
Windows, radiators, door swing, and closet doors. A photo is not a tape measure. The plan tells you which clearances to confirm, and the retailer page is the final word on price and stock before you buy.
